Calgary is in a housing crisis. Your presence is needed: firstly, to share with our political leaders the importance of this issue to everyday Calgarians. It impacts all walks of life, from students to those on fixed incomes and Calgarians starting their lives in our communities and neighbourhoods.

Please join us for a gathering of Calgarians on the front steps of City Hall during the lunch hour on September 14th. This is the day that city councillors are debating the Affordable Housing Task Force's recommendations and while councillors are listening to Calgarians during the public session at the Community Development Committee.

Many members of the Calgary Alliance for the Common Good will be in attendance. This gathering is in partnership with a variety of hosts and organizations that are seized with solving Calgary's issues.

The event starts at 12:15 PM, with speeches and then will followed by going into chambers to watch the debate. If the weather is awful, we will be gathering just inside, so please join us, rain or shine.
