Good Jobs

The Good Jobs team continues to advocate for fair access to employment opportunities and the recognition of the skills, experience, and credentials that newcomers bring to our communities. A key focus of the team’s work is addressing barriers that prevent internationally trained professionals from fully contributing to Alberta’s economy and workforce.  In the face of Alberta's referendum, we must remember that immigrants are gifts to our economy and society - not scapegoats.

The Alliance members are participating in the “Gifts Not Scapegoats” campaign, encouraging government leaders to implement the recommendations of Alberta’s Foreign Credential Advisory Committee rather than using immigrants as political scapegoats as seen in Alberta's Referendum.

Through letter-writing and community outreach, members are calling for practical reforms that recognize foreign credentials and experience, helping build a stronger and more inclusive economy for all Albertans. Join us in taking action by writing your MLA to ask them to implement the recommendations of the Recognition of Foreign Credentials Advisory Committee Report
