Affordable housing remains one of the top issues facing Calgarians. 

Our city has been making great strides in addressing this crisis following its affordable housing strategy that we campaigned for. 

Now, one of its key strategies, along with over $800 million in funding for affordable housing, is at risk if the rezoning strategies are repealed without a replacement that secures federal funding for affordable housing and continues to meet the objectives of the affordable housing strategy. 

You can act and make a difference. One of the key actions that is needed is for people to speak before the council at the Public Hearing that starts on March 23rd, 2026.
