CACG Brings Community Together at 2026 Gala
On Saturday, April 25, 2026, the Calgary Alliance for the Common Good (CACG) welcomed members, partners, and supporters to its annual Uncommonly Good Celebration Dinner, held in Calgary.
The evening brought together a diverse cross-section of the Alliance’s network in Temple B'nai Tikvah to celebrate shared achievements and build momentum for the year ahead.

The program featured remarks from community leaders and special guests, including former Mayor Jyoti Gondek, who reflected on leadership, civic responsibility, and the importance of collective action in shaping the city’s future.

Guests enjoyed a thoughtfully prepared dinner while engaging in meaningful conversations across sectors - faith, labour, education, and community organizations - highlighting the strength of CACG’s broad-based alliance model.

A highlight of the evening was the silent auction, which generated enthusiastic participation both in advance and during the event. Generous contributions - from unique experiences to high-value items - helped raise vital funds to support the Alliance’s organizing work across Calgary.

The evening also served as a celebration of the people behind the work; members who lead within their communities, volunteers who give their time and energy, and partners who stand together in pursuit of a more just, equitable, and compassionate city.

As CACG looks ahead, the funds raised and relationships strengthened through this event will directly support another year of organizing, advancing campaigns on affordable housing, good jobs, and mental health, and ensuring that community voices continue to shape public decisions in Calgary.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who made this evening possible: our attendees, volunteers, organizers, donors, and sponsors. Your support fuels the ongoing work of building a stronger, more inclusive Calgary, together.
