What is your dream for Calgary? What would exist in the city you’d like to be a part of?
Let’s start a conversation about the city that we want to see and be. How do we co-create the Calgary we want to exist? Join us as we have this conversation in our institutions and in our city at our first CORE team training of the fall.
We stand at an important crossroads for our city. We are facing challenging economic pressures that will impact our city’s budget. COVID has taught us about the importance of having a strong community while simultaneously Black Lives Matter and our Truth and Reconciliation Journey continue to remind us how many people don’t feel safe or welcome in our communities and are left at the margins. What is the city and what are the communities we want to create going forward?
In this CORE team training we will work with our core membership teams, develop strategies for having these conversations in our institutions, and discover how this can become a city wide conversation leading up to CACG’s Fall Assembly (On October 29th at 7:00 pm ) and the City budget conversation.
