What an exciting evening we had at our Discernment Assembly on Monday evening! At the culmination of our community-wide listening campaign, 115 people gathered from our 27 member organizations to choose the issues we will tackle next as an alliance!

 A drumroll for the new campaigns . . .  They are

Mental Health and Addiction

If you are interested in this team the first meeting will be Monday April 8^that 7:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church – 1611 St. Andrews Place NW.

 

Social Isolation/Community Building and Overcoming Divisions

If you are interested in this team the first meeting will be Thursday May 2^ndat 7:00 p.m. at Christ Church Anglican – 3602 8 St. SW.

 

The Environment

We decided that we would address this campaign by supporting the work of one of our member organizations – the Calgary Climate Hub. The first meeting will be on Tuesday April 30^that 7:00 p.m. – location will be confirmed.

 

Truth and Reconciliation 

This is one of our current campaigns that we are carrying forward. The next meeting of this team will be on Tuesday April 9^that 3:00 p.m. at the Central Library in room 3-17B.
