The Calgary Interfaith Council and the Calgary Alliance for the Common Good invite you to our next Faith Leaders Lunch on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, at noon at Parkdale United Church, 2919 8 Avenue NW.
Our last lunch sparked a rich and thoughtful conversation, and we left with a renewed appreciation for the wisdom, relationships, and shared commitment that exist across Calgary’s faith communities. In the wake of the referendum, we look forward to gathering again to reflect on what this moment asks of us and how we might respond together.
As faith communities, how can we draw on the wisdom and practices of our traditions to strengthen belonging in Calgary, and what might we accomplish together that we could not accomplish alone?
These lunches are an investment in the relationships that sustain our work and strengthen our city. By gathering across faith traditions, listening deeply to one another, and engaging in thoughtful conversation, we build the trust and understanding that make collaboration possible. Each conversation helps weave the fabric of a more compassionate community—one where differences are respected, connections are nurtured, and we are better able to respond together to the needs and hopes of the people we serve.
