Organizing our money by fundraising is another key way we build power to act for the common good. Join the Industrial Areas Foundation Canada for training on fundraising from individual donors. 

This training is based on the workshop taught by Bob Connolly, a former IAF organizer who has 10 years of experience as an organizer with the Industrial Areas Foundation and 35 years as the co-owner of The James Company, which helps congregations and non-profits raise money. He has helped to raise over $1.1billion for 1,800 organizations.  This process has allowed the Calgary Alliance to raise $25-30,000 per year in hard money. The first part of the workshop will focus on how to raise money for anything.  If there is interest - a second workshop on how to adapt this for congregations can be offered.
