Fifteen years ago, a small group of dedicated leaders came together because they believed if they were united, they could have an impact on the common good far beyond what they could achieve on their own. Five years ago, over five hundred people came together at Knox United as we publicly launched a new phase of public action.
Join us as we celebrate our work with our partners, the Industrial Areas Foundation Canada , for the common good of our city and raise money to support the next chapter in our Alliance for the Common Good.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with conversation and connecting. Non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. Dinner will follow at 6:00 p.m. and has been generously donated by the Anatolian Turkish Restaurant and community. The program will celebrate our work together and honour a public figure for uncommonly good service to the common good. Join us for fundraising, fundraising, celebration and the beginning of a new phase in our work for the common good.
Special Guest:
We will have Dr. Deena Hinshaw as our guest, whom we want to honour for Uncommonly Good Service for the Common Good. She will speak on lessons she learned from public leadership and what it will take to build a healthy society.
