The Calgary Alliance for the Common Good, which unites 33 organizations and represents 35,000 Calgarians, is very disappointed to learn that the province has announced that it is ending the youth probation program run by the City of Calgary.

November 23, 2020 - Rally on the Steps of City Hall at 9:30 am

Calgary, AB - At 9:30 a.m. on Monday, the Calgary Alliance for the Common Good, a non-partisan and non-profit alliance of congregations, unions, school and community groups that represents more than 35,000 people will be holding a small, socially-distanced rally on the steps of City Hall.

June 1, 2020 - 35 000 strong collection of Calgarians support current Green Line alignment

Calgary, AB  - Members of the Calgary Alliance, wearing green scarves, will be on the steps of City Hall Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. to show their support for the Green Line.  

Volunteers, arriving at 8:30 a.m., will use hula hoops and sidewalk chalk to mark out 40 socially distanced circles and then one person will stand in that circle with a sign indicating which of the 30 member organisations they represent.
